There’s so much happening at Ocean Reef Marina that we thought we’d bring you an early update. We’re excited to reveal artist impressions of the new bike pump track (pictured below), set to open next year.

Designed with families in mind, this safe and engaging pump track will offer children a fun way to build confidence, develop bike-handling skills, and enjoy the outdoors. We’ve also filmed a short video to give you a closer look at what to expect – take a look here.

From boat Ramps to pathways – see the latest progress

This month’s project update video highlights exciting milestones across the Ocean Reef Marina precinct. You’ll see eight brand-new boat ramps now complete – including one specially designed for launching kayaks – alongside new community facilities, native landscaping, and upgraded pathways that enhance connectivity throughout the site.

Key infrastructure is progressing well, with retaining walls, irrigation systems, and roadworks taking shape. Residential development is also underway, with civil works advancing on the first residential lots.

Watch the video below to see how the marina is coming to life – and what’s next for this vibrant coastal destination.

EnviroDevelopment Certification awarded to Ocean Reef Marina

Recently, our CEO Dean Mudford got behind the camera to share the story of Ocean Reef Marina, one of Australia’s most sustainably planned coastal developments. In this video, Dean shares how the marina was designed to protect the environment, support local communities, and honour the natural landscape.

Watch the video below to learn how sustainability is woven into every aspect of this world-class project, setting a new standard for marina developments nationwide. You can also learn more about the EnviroDevelopment Certification here.

Ocean Reef Marina: one year on

It’s been just over a year since Georgiou Group broke ground at Ocean Reef Marina – and the transformation has been remarkable.

From residential lots beginning to take shape, to floating boat ramps and an internal family-friendly beach nearing completion, Stage 1 is redefining our coastline. But this is more than construction – it’s about community, connection, and coastal innovation.

The image on the left shows the latest view of the marina. On the right, you’ll see newly constructed curved footpaths that will wind through the precinct, designed to reflect and connect with the site’s rich cultural heritage.

Later this year, we’ll share a video featuring Brendan Moore, our Aboriginal Development Manager, as he tells the story of the Waugal – the spirit snake – which, long ago, travelled across this land. As it moved, it shaped the dunes and carved underground waterways that flow from deep inland to the ocean. These water paths, both visible and hidden, hold deep cultural significance for the Noongar people. The curved footpaths throughout the precinct are inspired by this story – echoing the Waugal’s journey and honouring the land forms it shaped.

We recently caught up with Georgiou Group Construction Manager, Ben Guile, who reflects on how far we’ve come – and what’s still ahead.  Check out the video here.
