Stage 1 Works Underway
Ocean Reef Marina project milestones are progressing well, transforming vision into reality.
The breakwaters were completed in August 2023, followed by internal works in early 2024. Stage 1 subdivision works, delivered by Georgiou Group, commenced in March 2024 and mark the next exciting phase of development.
Once complete, the marina will be a vibrant destination for leisure, dining and recreation. Stage 1 will feature 68 residential lots and three apartment sites, with sales anticipated to begin in early 2026. A protected family beach, coastal pool and playground are also planned, expected to open in late 2026 to early 2027.
Separate to the main subdivision works, Byte Construct is delivering new facilities for Marine Rescue Whitfords and the Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club. The Marine Rescue Whitfords facility will house the Department of Transport and Major Infrastructure on the ground floor, with volunteer operations located above. The new Ocean Reef Sea Sports Club building will mark an exciting new chapter for the club, which is set to relocate from its current premises in late 2025. Joondalup City RSL will also be co-located within the ORSSC building.
